Published rates vary according to season, cruising region and confirmed availability. Applicable VAT, APA, fuel, provisioning, port fees and itinerary-specific expenses are additional unless expressly included in the final charter agreement.
APA & Charter Expenses
ORIENT STAR operates under standard base-charter-fee plus expenses terms. An APA — Advance Provisioning Allowance is paid before embarkation and managed by the captain to cover variable operating and guest-related expenses during the charter.
Current Eastern Mediterranean charter listings commonly publish an APA in the region of approximately 35%. Exact APA and applicable VAT depend on the embarkation country and itinerary and should be confirmed in the final charter proposal.
